According to a local journalist, there is no reason for Estonian children to learn Russian.
According to Unian, a well-known Estonian journalist Priit Khybemägi said that Estonian children do not need to learn Russian.
“There is no reason for Estonian children to learn Russian, since Estonia has one state language – and that is Estonian. Also, Russia is a rather unfriendly country for Estonia, there are no special affairs with it, this country constantly threatens Estonia and treats Estonia badly”, – said Hibemägi.
In his opinion, there are no prospects for learning the Russian language: “It is necessary to learn German, English, French, Spanish”.
