During their work in Karabakh, sappers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry examined an area of more than 120 hectares and neutralized 15.5 thousand explosive objects, RIA Novosti reports.
“Specialists of the EMERCOM of Russia continue work on demining in Nagorno-Karabakh. They surveyed an area of over 123 hectares and found about 15.5 thousand explosives”, – the ministry’s press service said.
It is also noted that among the ammunition found there were almost 7 thousand artillery shells, 3.4 thousand rounds of various calibers, about 730 mines and more than 1,000 grenades.
