Amid yet another attempt by Democrats to impeach the outgoing president Donald Trump, nearly 60% of Americans have expressed support for banning the businessman from federal office
The Monmouth University telephone survey included 809 American adults. The margin of error, according to the study’s authors, is 3.5%.
According to the released data, 57% of those surveyed supported the idea of banning Trump from holding public office. At the same time, 41% of respondents opposed it.
Among Republicans polled, only 19% supported the ban. Among Democrats, the number was 90%.
