The Army will receive 20 HMMWVs, while the Navy will receive more than 80 boats
According to Korrespondent, as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, the US government handed over new Humvee (HMMWV) vehicles and boats to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Nothing could stop the delivery of 20 Humvees for the Ukrainian Army and Special Operations Forces, as well as 84 boats for the Ukrainian Navy as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative”, – the US Embassy’s press service said in a post on Twitter.
We would like to point out that the number of HMMWVs transferred by the USA to the Ukrainian army so far stands at over a hundred units. In addition to standard vehicles, armoured vehicles and ambulances have also been delivered.
