Warsaw did not ask Moscow for the extradition of air traffic controllers in the case of the Tu-154 crash on April 10, 2010, in which Polish President Lech Kaczynski died.
This became known from the commentary of the head of the profile head office of the Prosecutor General’s Office for RIA Novosti.
According to him, at the moment the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia has not received a response from Poland to its November request regarding Kaczynski’s conversation before the plane crash, which, according to Polish media, took place on a satellite phone shortly before the death, while “one of the aspects of the flight was touched upon”.
