President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the government to give a symmetrical response to the Western states, which were the first to impose sanctions against enterprises in the republic. He said this on Tuesday, receiving a report from Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Nazarov and Minister of Industry Peter Parkhomchik.
“Two or three of our enterprises fell under the so-called bandit sanctions from the West. Yuri Viktorovich [Nazarov], convey [to Prime Minister Roman] Golovchenko and resolve this issue in the government: we must answer this symmetrically”, – Lukashenko said. His words were quoted by BelTA.
“They have imposed sanctions against our enterprises. We must see which countries have done this, and we must react accordingly”.
