Alexander Lukashenko considers Russian President Vladimir Putin a friend and plays the same team with him in sports and politics, he said in an interview on the Russia-1 channel
“Yes, I consider him my friend, and this year (2020) he confirmed that he is not only my friend but also a friend of the Belarusian people. Sincerely”, – stressed Lukashenko.
At that he found it difficult to name those who he still considers to be his friends, and he spoke about his numerous opponents.
Answering the question whether he and Putin play in the same team or not, Lukashenko noted that he is on the same team with the Russian leader not only in sports but in politics as well.
“We are already in one team”, – added the Belarusian politician.
Lukashenko also considers Putin to be a close person and can argue with him during a phone conversation.
