The registration process for “Sputnik V” begins in Ukraine

The Ukrainian health minister is very hopeful to find evidence of its ineffectiveness.

According to Strana.ua, the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, confirmed that after the Kharkiv company “Biolek” showed an application to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for registration of the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V”, it entered the State Expert Center.

“Indeed, on January 6, Biolek filed an application with the State Expert Center. Further, according to the law, they must also submit a registration form, a dossier in which the results of all phases of clinical trials must be displayed. Finally, we will see not political slogans, but what this Russian vaccine is. Further it will be possible to talk about the quality of these documents and this vaccine”, – said Maxim Stepanov during a briefing on January 8.

Let us remind you that on December 8th it was announced that the company “Biolek”, located in Kharkov, was ready to launch the production of the vaccine. And the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev said that the first test spills of the vaccine identical to the production were made at the facilities of Biolek.

Taking into account the openly negative attitude towards the Russian vaccine from the current head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, as well as from the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine, it will be interesting to observe what bureaucratic tricks they will use when trying to prevent the vaccine from entering the Ukrainian market. Recall that the US Embassy in Kiev, in fact, explicitly prohibited the Ukrainian authorities from using the Russian development for vaccination of citizens of Nezalezhnaya.
