The CIS Observer Mission did not reveal violations during the election campaign in Kyrgyzstan

The CIS observer mission did not record significant violations during the election campaign in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by the head of the mission Vasily Volkov.

“So far, what we have personally seen and have seen with our own eyes gross violations, as a result of which it would be possible to cancel the election results at the polling station or in some territory, so far there is no such thing. We haven’t found anything like that”, – he said.

As Volkov emphasized, “the mission began work on December 21”. Volkov noted that “for the first time, representatives of independent non-profit organizations that are engaged in control and monitoring of elections are working in the CIS mission, and this is very gratifying, because it is necessary to expand the circle of observers”. He also noted that the CIS mission intends to visit all regions and regions of the country.
