Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an interview with Kossuth Radio that the authorities continue to negotiate with Russia, China and Israel on the purchase of vaccines for the coronavirus, as the pace of acquiring other drugs in the EU is too slow.
“Unfortunately, the EU purchases vaccines very slowly, so Hungary continues negotiations with Israel, Russia and China, because if we wait, the difficult situation in which we are now will continue”, – the prime minister said on the official website of the Hungarian government.
“Brussels should be transferred only those competencies with which, we are sure, at the EU level they will definitely cope better”, – he added.
