Iran has ramped up uranium enrichment to 20% as the US continues to put pressure on the republic following Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action
The decision to resume uranium enrichment at an underground nuclear facility was announced by the Iranian government.
“A few minutes ago, the Fordow enrichment complex began producing uranium enriched to 20 percent”, – government spokesman Ali Rabey told Iranian state media.
