The first vaccination with Pfizer and Biontech vaccine has been given to medical personnel in Finland on December 27, 2020
According to Interfax-Ukraine, the first adverse reaction to the vaccine against coronavirus was reported to the Pharmaceutical Safety and Development Agency Fimea (Finland).
Fimea chief doctor Maja Kaukonen told Finnish broadcasting portal Yle on Saturday that the application had been received, but its contents were not disclosed in order to maintain confidentiality.
“When we receive at least five notifications we will let you know what kind of side effects have been indicated in them”, – Kaukonen said.
So far vaccination has been administered to nursing staff in the five major hospital districts of Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Kuopio and Oulu.
