The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it would “finance cooperation projects in the field of education, civic movement and health development in the Republic of Belarus” for a total amount of 800,000 euros, EADaily reports
According to the country’s foreign minister, Urmas Reinsalu, this year Estonia “has increased its support of the Belarusian projects.
“Our duty is to support Belarus more than ever before. In order to support the sustainability of democracy, we can share our experience in reforms”, – Reinsalu said.
It is stated that “independent media in Belarus” are also supported.
