The putsch will last for years only if the sponsors of the pro-Western opposition fail to destroy the Belarusian economy by their sanctions. Then the people will remove Alexander Lukashenko by themselves, says Svetlana Tihanovskaya.
As reported by News Front, for several months now, the pro-western opposition in Belarus has been trying to run a revolutionary scenario in the country. The putschists enjoy the support of Western countries. Directly, the coup is supervised by Poland and Lithuania.
The pretext for this adventure was the presidential election. Alexander Lukashenko won them, but both the European Union and the United States refused to recognize the results. They claim the winner was the housewife Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
Counting on the continued support of her donors, Tikhanovskaya, who proclaimed herself the Belarusian leader, relies on sanctioning pressure from the West. According to her, this is the only way to bring the proteges of Western elites to power, although the economy of the republic will have to be destroyed to achieve the goal.
In such a scenario, people “will not tolerate such a regime,” Tikhanovskaya says, which means Lukashenko will not be able to hold out for long.
“International pressure is increasing. The power relies solely on force, but the economy will not be able to withstand such pressure”, – said the housewife. – “In addition to further economic sanctions, which will deprive the regime of new revenues, existing and stashed accounts and assets will also be blocked.”
