Belarus receives first batch of Sputnik V vaccine

The first batch of Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine arrived in Belarus on Tuesday

“The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and RDIF announce the start of vaccination of the population of Belarus with the Russian vaccine against Sputnik V coronavirus. Belarus has become the first state after the Russian Federation to officially register Sputnik V”, –  the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said in a statement.

RDIF is working to start production of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in Belarus. Earlier, an agreement was signed with holding company Belpharmprom, whose enterprises are preparing production facilities to produce the finished form of the vaccine.
