Coronavirus vaccination, which had barely begun among the population in Germany, was soon frozen in two counties in Bavaria at once
As News Front reported earlier, the European Union was forced to make an urgent decision to approve a controversial vaccine from Pfizer due to the rapid spread of a new strain of coronavirus.
Thousands of Americans have been affected by Pfizer’s vaccine
The drug was approved despite multiple cases of side-effects, primarily experienced by allergy sufferers. In Britain, authorities have even recommended that those with a history of allergy should not receive the vaccine. However, no less of a problem remains the fact that the American-made drug must be stored at a temperature of around -70 degrees Celsius.
It is this factor that has disrupted vaccinations in Upper Franconia and Swabia. The authorities decided not to take the risk by cancelling the vaccination after the storage conditions were breached. In the meantime, the county authorities have started consultations with the vaccine manufacturer on how to proceed.
