“The cause of the fire was arson following a quarrel between a group of Syrian refugee workers and members of the local Al Mir clan”, – the source said.

In response, clan members set fire to several tents and plywood dwellings. The flames erupted quickly engulfed most of the camp. Rescuers who arrived at the scene were able to put out the fire and evacuated the Syrians to neighboring camps in Tripoli, Akkara and Dynnia.
