According to Interfax-Ukraine, as media cite data from officials from the Canadian health system, two cases of coronavirus infection, first detected in the UK, have been identified in the country.
Spouses in the Canadian province of Ontario were infected with this strain of coronavirus. At the same time, the couple did not leave the province, did not have contact with patients and people of high risk, the reports say.
Canada last week extended its ban on passenger flights from the UK until 6 January. Earlier, the “British” strain of coronavirus was identified in a number of countries in Europe, Australia, Japan, South Africa.
