Earlier, John Sullivan, in a letter to Santa Claus, admitted that in the past year he “behaved very well, wore a mask, kept his distance”, and asked for the coronavirus vaccine, a new hockey stick and running shoes.
According to TASS, the Russian Foreign Ministry on Saturday responded on its official Twitter account to a Christmas letter from US Ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan addressed to Santa Claus.
“Dear Ambassador, has Santa already fulfilled your vaccination dream? If not, our Father Frost has gifts for you”, – the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Among these gifts is the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V”, which, as the Russian diplomatic department recalled, was approved for use by people over 60 years old. On Smolenskaya Square, the American diplomat was also advised to pay attention to the ZaryaD sticks, which are known to be played by Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Night Hockey League matches.
Earlier, a photo of Sullivan’s handwritten letter was posted on the Facebook page of the American diplomatic mission. In it, the diplomat admits that in the outgoing year he “behaved very well, wore a mask, kept his distance”, and asks Santa for the coronavirus vaccine, a new hockey stick and running shoes.
