Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun, one of the leaders of the opposition Movement for the Salvation of the Motherland, considered unacceptable the proposal made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the day before, on December 25, to hold political consultations to organize early parliamentary elections in Armenia.
“This option is unacceptable. There is one way – to remove the traitor from power, after which the Armenian people will be given the opportunity to hold free, fair, transparent and competitive elections”, – wrote a representative of the oldest Armenian party.
Saghatelyan also believes that Pashinyan is “looking for loopholes” and is trying to hide behind a “people’s screen”, in fact, misleading citizens. In his opinion, the resignation of the current head of government is inevitable.
