The United States received a clear message – the Chinese analyst assessed the military cooperation between the Russian Federation and the PRC

It is believed that joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region are the reaction of Russia and China to American pressure. This point of view makes sense.

As News Front reported, on December 22, Russian and Chinese aircraft conducted patrols over the Japanese and East China Seas. This is the second operation of this kind.

In this way, the two countries are working to enhance stability in a region that the United States has been overly interested in lately, notes Yang Jin of the PRC Academy of Social Sciences in a publication for the Global Times.

“Some third-party states, primarily the United States, have repeatedly intervened in the situation here and provoked tensions, threatening to undermine peace in the region,” the expert says. “Russia and China, in turn, maintain a balance in the region, in no way seeking to destroy it.”

Rather, the threat is posed by the United States, which has its missile systems in the region. Yang Jin notes that neither China nor Russia goes to such provocations and does not conclude agreements that violate stability.

“The two-state operation can be seen as a response to attempts to destabilize the region. Someone thinks that joint air patrols between Russia and China are a tough response to hostile US sanctions. It makes a certain sense. “
