According to Ion Chicu, he made this decision after consulting with President Igor Dodon and Speaker of the Parliament Zinaida Greceanîi.
According to zdg.md, Chicu noted that this is why the government met yesterday for a meeting to focus on the main goal: dissolving parliament and organizing early elections. Ion Chicu stressed that he hopes to meet with Maia Sandu today.
The Kiku government was appointed on November 14, 2019, by a vote of the PSRM, Democratic Party of Moldova deputies and independent MP Aleksandr Oleinik. A total of 62 deputies then voted for him.
