Denmark awaits new work plan for “Nord Stream – 2”

Recently the Danish Maritime Office has issued a warning that from January 15 in the economic zone of the country in the Baltic Sea will begin the completion of the “Nord Stream – 2”.

According to EADaily, the head of the communications and media relations department, Morten Christensen, clarified that the Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has not yet received an updated schedule of work on Nord Stream-2.

“When the Danish Energy Agency receives it, we will assess the document for compliance with the already issued permit and environmental assessment”, – wrote a spokesman for the Danish Energy Agency, Tore Falbe-Hansen.

Nord Stream-2 AG said that they could not provide additional information to the message of the Danish Maritime Authority.

The Danish section is the largest unfinished section of Nord Stream-2. It is more than 100 kilometers along two lines of 160 kilometers that have yet to be laid. Now “Fortuna” is laying a small shallow area in the German economic zone.
