Alexey Pushkov: Blocking some political content is a conscious and consistent policy of Google

According to available data, from April to June 2020 alone, Google blocked more than 2,500 channels on the Youtube platform – mainly related to the PRC, but also from Russia (90 channels). This was announced by Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov.

“Some of them contained video information about racial protests and the coronavirus epidemic in the United States. Thus, blocking a part of political content is a conscious and consistent policy of Google”, – the parliamentarian wrote on his Telegram channel.
