Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has said that Moscow has nothing to do with hacking attacks on US government institutions
“Russia is not involved in such attacks, and this one in particular. We state this officially and emphatically”, – Peskov said.
In his view, “any accusations of Russia’s involvement are absolutely unfounded and are rather a continuation of the blind Russophobia that is resorted to in any incidents.” When asked about a possible response from the United States in such a situation, Peskov said that “the actions of the United States have been little predictable lately.
As previously reported, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI and the Infrastructure and Cyber Security Agency said there had been a serious cyber attack on federal government computer networks.
