Unfortunately, the West never understood Russia: The State Duma responded to Britain’s statement

Ruslan Balbek, MP of the State Duma assessed the statement of British Chief of Defence Staff Nick Carter about the most serious threat in the Euro-Atlantic region

According to Balbek, NATO countries need to somehow justify their now regular presence in the Black Sea with such statements.

He also added that NATO spy planes “stuck” to the Russian air borders but, as Balbek said, the West did not consider this “a game of muscles”.

“So any accusations against Russia do not contribute to the warming of our relations. Unfortunately, the West has failed to understand Russia: it is useless to threaten us, while we are always open to dialogue”, –  the MP concluded.

Earlier it was reported that the British Chief of Defence Staff believes that the most serious threat in the Euro-Atlantic region comes from Russia.
