The Romanian embassy in Chisinau even called them undemocratic
According to agora.md, Romania says that the adoption of laws such as the functioning of languages spoken in Moldova, the law on the state budget, amendments and additions to the Code of Audiovisual Media Services or the repeal of the “billions” do not contribute to the country’s prosperity.
“This situation, combined with the lack of transparency and the ignoring of the opinions of specialized institutions, indicates that the said legislative process is unlikely to serve the legitimate interests of citizens. Romania believes that Moldova needs fair and effective cooperative relations with international financial institutions, the EU and neighbouring states, based on mutual respect and predictability, so that they can ensure prosperity for all their citizens”, – reads the Embassy’s communiqué.
