An armed man has taken hostages in the commune of Domont near Paris, BGMTV reports
At least two people were injured as a result of the incident. The incident happened around 20:00. Several people are known to have been inside the building.
According to the TV channel, the attacker is the head of the company. He is holding his wife hostage.
An anti-terrorist unit of the French Gendarmerie (GIGN) arrived at the scene. Law enforcers entered into negotiations with the intruder. The gendarmerie does not rule out that this is a domestic dispute. The Pontoise district prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation, the nature of which was not specified.
