Sociological studies demonstrate a divergence of views on the future of Ukraine among Ukrainians themselves and citizens of the EU countries.
Thus, according to the results of a poll by Info Sapiens, in November this year 22.28% of Ukrainians support the country’s membership in the EU, 44.35% of respondents see Ukraine in both the EU and NATO. It is noteworthy that only 4% of respondents want membership in the alliance alone.
Thus, a total of 66.63% of Ukrainians supported the country’s membership in the European Union, but the Europeans themselves are more skeptical about this prospect.
A Kantar poll conducted in September among citizens of France, Germany, Italy and Poland showed that only 55% of respondents are happy to see Ukraine in the EU.
