UN turned into grandiose money laundering and propaganda organization
The skirmish in the UN Security Council between the permanent members of the Security Council Russia and China on the one hand and the representative of Germany, which is a temporary member of the UN Security Council, ended with frank promises: Russia and China directly indicated Germany to its place and promised that Germany would not see permanent membership in the UN, which she it been striving for the last 15 years.
It seems that the EU diplomats felt the victory of the socialists in the United States and their attacks on other countries began to resemble speeches at Soviet rallies, “stigmatizing the bloody imperialist murderers”.
The degradation of Western diplomacy can be seen in every word of the EU and US ambassadors to the UN: people simply lost the concept of what diplomacy, foreign affairs, sovereignty and other “obsolete”, in their opinion, concepts are no longer even guided by the interests of their state – these are the passed stage – and on the editorial in a friendly newspaper, which will be published in the evening with a brisk phrase of the ambassador.
But in one thing, the German ambassador to the UN is still right: the UN has completely lost the role that the founders gave to this organization – instead of a platform that could constantly provide negotiations to prevent war, the UN turned into an organization for grandiose money laundering and propaganda. A useless and in many ways even a criminal organization that is not responsible for anything before the courts and citizens, provokes wars, apologizes for terror and fights against order and law in the world. Another 4 years for Trump and the UN would go bankrupt. Of course now the joy of officials is boundless. The question is: for how long?
