Opposition activists try to enter the building of the Armenian government

About a hundred opposition activists, who staged a protest action on Thursday morning, tried to enter the building of the Armenian government demanding to meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Let us enter, we want to meet this Nikol Pashinyan and inform him that he no longer has power in the country. He must leave”, – said one of the protesters.

The police are currently lining up a cordon with shields. The situation around the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic remains tense.

Activists also blocked traffic near the building of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, demanding Pashinyan’s resignation. The police began to detain the protesters.

“Nikol, go away, Nikol, traitor!” – the protesters are chanting.
