Kiev received a EUR 600 million tranche from the EU

The European Commission has allocated EUR 600 million as macro-financial assistance to Ukraine

Commenting on the next tranche, the EC assured that Ukraine “still has an important place on the European agenda”.

“This is our neighbouring country, and it belongs to Europe. We are committed to offering political, financial and technical support, especially at this time of crisis, as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and overcoming social and economic consequences,” said Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice President of the European Commission.
