The US intends to provide funding for a program to combat disinformation against the Alliance. This is reported by RT.
“The Office of the Public Affairs Advisor to the US Representation to NATO welcomes project proposals aimed at increasing the resilience of NATO countries and their allies to campaigns to spread misinformation”, – the grant says.
The target audience of the projects will be young people, representatives of the security and defense sectors, as well as politicians and persons influencing the formation of public opinion.
The maximum size of one grant for the program “Countering disinformation and false information” should not exceed 25 thousand dollars. Non-profit organizations, nongovernmental organizations and educational institutions from NATO and Partner countries can apply for the grant.
