In 2020, the United States sold weapons to Ukraine for a record amount for the latter – $510.5 million, according to a report from the US Defense Cooperation and Security Agency.
For comparison, in 2019 this figure was $272.4 million, in 2018 – $250.7 million, in 2017 – $207.7 million and in 2016 – $226.5 million.
In the period from 1950 to 2015 inclusive, the United States supplied Ukraine with weapons for a total of $179.2 million.
The report also clarifies that in 2020, the United States supplied military products:
Lithuania in the amount of $136.5 million;
Georgia – $62.8 million;
Latvia – $38.1 million;
Moldova – $11.5 million;
Turkmenistan – $1.3 million;
Kazakhstan – $1 million;
Estonia – $610 thousand;
Azerbaijan – $509 thousand;
Armenia – $2 thousand.
