A monument to protest against Netanyahu was demolished in Israel

In Jerusalem on Saturday, municipal staff dismantled the Hero of Israel statue, a figure of a participant in a protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The night before, the statue was erected in Place de Paris, opposite the official residence of the Prime Minister.
The workers who were dismantling the statue were accompanied by police. The sculptor, 41-year-old artist Itai Zalait, was detained, but was released a few hours later.
