The Bolivian Electoral Observation Team in Venezuela is led by Evo Morales

The former president of Bolivia said he was very happy to be in Venezuela

Former President Evo Morales leads a Bolivian delegation that will be observing the parliamentary elections in Venezuela on 6 December. This was announced on Saturday by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, during a speech in Caracas.

“In the morning, the Bolivian delegation arrived, led by Evo Morales”, –  said Maduro, whose speech was broadcast on public television.

Morales, for his part, said that he was very happy to be in Venezuela.

Regular parliamentary elections will be held in Venezuela on 6 December, resulting in the election of 277 deputies (110 more than in the current convocation). The voting will take place against the background of an acute socio-economic crisis and political tensions that began in 2015 after the victory of the opposition forces in the parliamentary elections.
