Azerbaijan and Armenia will conduct an “all for all” prisoner exchange

The countries have agreed on prisoner exchange. It will also include those who were captured before the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh

This was told by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

“The most important task is the return of prisoners. I want to say that there has been some progress. In fact, we have agreed on the principle of exchanging “all for all””, –  Pashinyan said.

Pashinyan stressed that besides the exchange of prisoners, there is another important problem – the search for missing people. In early November, more than 600 military bodies were removed from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, 500 of which are now being identified.

“It is very likely that these are the bodies of our missing compatriots. Identification is made using DNA tests. To date, 135 dead have been identified and handed over to their families”, –  the Prime Minister said.
