In Karabakh, they spoke about the importance of the Russian peacekeeping mission

Press Secretary of the President of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Vahram Poghosyan stated that the NKR does not need to expand its peacekeeping contingent yet: time will tell if it is necessary.

Poghosyan noted that “there is definitely no reason to prepare for a new war”. He also said that by now most of the residents have already returned. According to the spokesman, “it means that people have trust”ю

“NKR residents fully trust the Russian peacekeepers. Let me emphasize, Russian, and not any other. If they represented other countries, I am sure there would not be such a level of trust and in general what we see in Karabakh today”, – Poghosyan said.

According to him, “everything is going according to plan – as promised by Russia and as stated in the agreement”.

The presence of the Russian peacekeeping continent in Nagorno-Karabakh became possible due to the fact that on November 9 Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan concluded a trilateral agreement on a complete cessation of hostilities on the territory of the NKR.
