Moldovan opposition blocked a rostrum in parliament

Opposition representatives have blocked the rostrum in the Moldovan parliament, they are unhappy with the fact that they did not remove from the agenda the projects in respect of which disagreements arose between the deputies.

Deputies from the Action and Solidarity Party, as well as from the Dignity and Truth Platform Party, at a meeting on Thursday insisted that issues on the status of the Russian language, on amendments to the Code on Television and Radio Broadcasting, and also about the legal status of the Gagauz autonomy in the south of the republic. The opposition argued that the bills need to be revised, especially since now it is necessary to think about “more important things”.

“In connection with serious violations of the legislation and regulations of the parliament, as well as violations of the interests of citizens, we are forced to resort to other measures to stop this lawlessness”, – said Alexander Slusar, vice speaker of parliament from the Dignity and Truth platform party.

The deputies blocked the parliamentary rostrum, the speaker of the parliament Zinaida Greceanîi announced a break.

According to the opposition, now it is necessary to pay more attention to the problem of the pandemic, as well as to finalize the draft fiscal policy, which many are unhappy with.
