The press service of the Eastern Military District (VVO) reported on the conducted exercises at various levels and a new algorithm for dealing with high-precision targets.
“In the 2020 academic year, in the course of combat training, the Air Defense Forces successfully tested new and improved existing methods of dealing with unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles of a conventional enemy. In total, about 40 thousand practical exercises were held, including more than 200 exercises of various levels, taking into account the conduct of hostilities in modern armed conflicts”, – the press service of the Air Defense Forces said.
Also during the exercise, a fundamentally new algorithm for dealing with high-speed targets was successfully introduced. The servicemen worked out the techniques of covering the troops from aerial bombs, missiles of multiple launch rocket systems.
Before the start of the new training period, more than five thousand junior specialists joined the military units of the Air Defense Forces. The training centers located in the Khabarovsk and Trans-Baikal Territories train servicemen in a wide variety of specialties: driver mechanics, gunners-operators of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, specialists in missile forces, artillery and signal troops.
