Brazilian leader Jair Bolsonaro announced that he had information about fraud in the counting of votes in the US presidential elections.
“The media do not speak, but I have my own sources of information, I will not name them. There have indeed been numerous cases of falsification”, – he said during a conversation with the press. At the same time, as Bolsonaro clarified, he is not sure that the violations he is aware of could tip the scales in favor of one of the candidates.
The Brazilian president said he still does not intend to congratulate Democrat Joseph Biden on the victory. The politician noted that he does not exclude a situation in which the final decision on the outcome of the elections can be made by the US Supreme Court.
Bolsonaro openly sympathizes with the incumbent head of the White House, Donald Trump, which he has repeatedly admitted publicly. For his harsh statements and similarity of views with the American leader, the President of Brazil is often called the “tropical Trump.” Bolsonaro has repeatedly stated that Trump is an example for him and that he, like the American leader, wants to “make his country great.”
