The Armenian government is committed to the long-term preservation of peace in Nagorno-Karabakh.
This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in his address to citizens.
“Today, an important goal is to preserve the achieved peace, to make it lasting and, if we can make it permanent, much better. Today, an important task is to ensure stability and security around Armenia and Artsakh”, – the head of the government said.
He also criticized the actions of the opposition, which took people to the streets and demanded to annul the Karabakh agreement.
“Some forces are trying to create the appearance of a lack of power in Armenia. They want to wreak havoc in the country in order to secure their return to power. However, we will not allow this. We do not hold on to power, but the people do not want their return”, – Pashinyan said.
