Germany intends to intervene in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh

The ruling coalition in Germany called for Berlin to intervene in the settlement of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

In the opinion of the Bundestag deputies, Germany should “actively participate in the peaceful settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh”. Berlin also accused Russia and Turkey of “promoting the interests of certain parties in the region”.

However, it is worth recalling that the normalization of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh became possible only thanks to the participation of the Russian peacekeeping mission, which was sent to the region after the signing of a trilateral agreement on the cessation of hostilities between the heads of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
