Russia and Belarus have mechanisms to repel attacks from the United States
This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Thursday 26 November following talks with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Lavrov reminded that right now sanctions measures are being taken against Russia and Belarus in the West under the pretext of “promoting democracy”.
“This is already the case in Russia, now the same document has been introduced in the US Congress and in the Republic of Belarus. So we take it calmly, we have a Union State, we have something to defend ourselves, how to defend our independence”, – said the diplomat.
