Trump voters do not recognise Biden’s victory

Two-thirds of the supporters of the outgoing US president believe that he must continue to fight, and almost three-quarters are ready to follow him if he decides to form his own party

According to CNBC, according to a survey conducted by Channel and Change Research, only 3% of the voters who voted for Trump on 3 November believe that Biden has won a legitimate victory. 73% of these voters believe that the incumbent president, who had his second term stolen, is the winner. 24% found it difficult to answer.

“3% of Trump’s electorate believe that he should yield to Biden and begin a peaceful transfer of power. Another 31% want the president to fight in the courts until all states confirm the election results. Two-thirds, or 66%, believe that Trump should never cede”, –  says the material on the channel’s website.

One more thing has also come out. Voters are loyal to Trump, not to the Republican Party. When asked with whom respondents would identify themselves if the President left the Republican Party, 72% said it was Trump, and only 28% said it was the Republican Party.

“So Donald Trump may well start building the strongest third party since the civil war and actually destroy the ‘Great Old Party'”, –  says the expert Dmitry Drobnitsky.
