Prime Minister Ion Kiku is optimistic about the possibility of extending a loan from Russia

Kiku accused members of parliament who, he said, were preventing the government from “not being able to act”

“It is provided for in the 2020 budget. So we’re not giving up, we’ve notified the Russian side, we’ll see what they have to say, but until the agreement is signed, there is no money. And there is less and less time, after the agreement is signed we have to go back to parliament, and you know what’s going on there. You saw in April, it’s important for them to cut off everything for the government, just so that they can’t work. It is possible that this scenario will still happen, so I am already a bit skeptical about it”, –  said the Prime Minister.
