Almost 50% of Americans want Trump to run for president in 2024

This point of view is mainly shared by supporters of the Republicans, according to a survey conducted jointly by The Hill newspaper and the Harris Research Service.

Approximately 47% of US residents support the idea of Donald Trump, the current president of the country, running for head of state in 2024. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted jointly by The Hill newspaper and the Harris Research Service on Monday.

According to the publication, this view is mainly held by supporters of Republicans – 75% of respondents who support this particular party. Among those who support the Democratic Party, only 24% support it.

The survey was conducted from 17 to 19 November. It was attended by 1,873 registered voters. The statistical error is about 2.26 percentage points.

On 9 November, the Axios news portal reported that Trump is considering the possibility of running for presidency again in 2024. According to him, the republican told his advisers that he was studying such a possibility. This was later reported by other American media.
