US sent fighter jets to Iranian border

US Central Command announced the transfer of a squadron of F-16 fighters from Germany to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was reported by the Israel Defense portal.

According to the official statement made by the Pentagon, “the squadron will be engaged in aviation training for combat operations, and will practice the rapid deployment of American troops anywhere in the world at any time”.

The exact location of the new deployment of American F-16s is not indicated by the publication. However, most likely they are located at the Al-Dhafra airbase, located on the territory of the Arab monarchy in the Persian Gulf.

Earlier, Western media reported that the current US President Donald Trump was considering the possibility of attacking Iran’s main nuclear facility, the Natanz uranium enrichment plant.
