The administration of US President Donald Trump intends to announce ties with the military of more than 80 companies from China, which will limit their ability to purchase American goods and technologies. This is reported by Reuters.
In October, Donald Trump signed a decree banning US investments in a number of Chinese companies that Washington believes are associated with the PRC military.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin called on the United States to stop putting pressure on Chinese companies and declared his readiness to resolutely defend the legitimate rights and interests of its enterprises.
“The US government is abusing its power to put pressure on Chinese companies, which seriously violates the principles of market competition and international trade rules, and seriously undermines business and investment cooperation between the two countries”, – said a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
