Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a secret visit to Saudi Arabia to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed Ibn Salman. This is reported by the Israeli media.
According to Israeli media reports, the meeting took place on Sunday, November 22, with the participation of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who was on a visit to Saudi Arabia at the time.
The Israeli Prime Minister was accompanied by the chief of the foreign intelligence service, Mossad Yossi Cohen. Israel’s defense and foreign ministers were not notified of the visit.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the prime minister’s business jet made a short trip from Tel Aviv to Neom on the shores of the Red Sea, where the Crown Prince and Pompeo had a scheduled meeting on Sunday.
Israel’s prime minister’s office declined to comment.
